There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear:
because fear hath torment. 1John 4:18
I learned a long time ago, that fear and love don’t mix.
You can’t love a man and be
afraid of him at the same time.
It’s one or the other.
First of all, you can’t truly be in love
if don’t love Christ first. Security is loving Christ,
being in His love and therefore
you are delivered from fear.
(Psalms 56:3; Proverbs 3:23-26)
Satan is the one who inspires fear and God is the
One who delivers you from it.
(2 Timothy 1:7; Ps. 27:1)
We must cast the burden of fear upon the Lord
and He will sustain us and give us rest.
(Psalm 55:22; Matt. 11:26-28)
Just His presence banishes fear. (Isaiah 41:10; Psalm 61:2)
But as Christ stands at the door and knocks (Rev. 3:20) we at times choose not to let Him in.
Trust in Him for we need not fear
what man can do to us or say about us. (Psalm 56:11)
Let’s place our lives in His hands. Give Him entire control and no one else. Once we do this, whatever happens we can face it confidently because Christ is now in control of every circumstance.
