“Still Got Just Milk?”
" I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not
able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.” 1 Cor. 3:2

Do we at times get upset when we hear the truth and when our “toes
are so called stepped on”? Yes we do. So what happens then? The
messages and sermons get lighter. We don’t want to offend anybody,
when in fact, the people must graduate to the advanced studies of
God’s Word. Instead, to keep from offending and running people off,
they are given light “happy happy joy joy” messages.

The Word of God is filled with chapters and books to read. It’s
shameful to skim over some of it. All of it needs to be read, studied
and preached. This is the only way to get to the whole truth.

This is why there are so many different faiths today, because many pick and
choose from the Word to what fits them, keeps them comfortable and
they can live just the way they want to live.

Some of us hear and learn messages from the Word and totally deny it
because it ruins our plans in life on the earth. Or we share with
someone else to get a second opinion. That person gives a second
opinion that appeals to us but they didn’t give it to us from the Word
of God so we end up following man.

Don’t we want to grow in Christ; in spirit and in truth? It’s the safest
way to go.

There comes a time to get the meat of the Word, dear saints. Let’s
stop acting as if we can only handle the milk. Let’s grow up and take
on all of “thus saith the Lord” like adult Christians.

The benefits MAKE A BODY GOOD.
